Our Story
Haver & Blair® was founded in 1965 by husband and wife duo Jennifer Haver and Andrew Blair. What started as a small boutique in their hometown eventually grew into the beloved brand it is today.
Jennifer always had an eye for fashion and dreamed of having her own clothing store one day. She would sketch dress designs for fun in her spare time. Andrew came from a family of tailors and shared Jennifer’s passion for style. After getting married, the couple decided to take the leap and open their own shop.
They started out with just a few racks of women’s clothing in a tiny storefront. Jennifer would design the pieces and Andrew would expertly tailor them. All the items were handmade right there in their boutique. The quality and attention to detail of their garments quickly gained a following among locals.
Within a few years, Jennifer and Andrew were able to move their operation into a larger space. They brought on additional staff to keep up with demand. Their offerings also expanded to include men’s and children’s apparel.
In the 1980s, Haver & Blair® began selling their collections to major department stores. They opened additional retail locations across the country. Through the decades, Jennifer and Andrew stayed committed to creating timeless, high-quality clothing with impeccable style.
Today, Haver & Blair® remains family-owned and operated. Jennifer and Andrew’s children have joined the business, carrying on their parents’ legacy. While trends come and go, Haver & Blair®‘s signature aesthetic and superior craftsmanship always stay in style.
